April 25 – OPEN CINEMA Season Nine finale & fundraiser: “Surviving Progress” with special guest author Ronald Wright!

We are so excited to announce our very special Season Nine finale and fundraiser on April 25th, 2012!

We’re partnering with the Sierra Club BC to screen the powerful documentary Surviving Progress with special guest,  Ronald Wright, author of A Short History of Progress, upon which the film is based.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be selling advance tickets for $15 (online purchase only) starting Monday March 19th, 2012. There will also be a limited number of tickets available at the door. Buy advance tickets here: www.opencinema.eventbrite.ca

As always at our annual fundraiser, we’ll have a silent auction (sale item donations welcome!), a grand prize draw and this year, our event partner Sierra Club BC will be able to offer tax receipts for donations over $10. Sorry, advance tickets and silent auction purchases are not eligible for tax receipts.
