OPEN CINEMA Connect the Docs continues to innovate across Canada!

We are very excited to announce a new kind of collaboration with the award-winning documentary The Secret Trial 5 during the month of March, 2015. This month our hybrid cinema ‘event’ will last a couple of weeks, as we engage online with the #ST5film team throughout their Cross-Canada tour, in order to, well — Connect the Docs! Then join us live in Vancouver on March 25 for a finale screening and webcast discussion with the filmmakers.

The Secret Trial 5

The story of 5 Canadian immigrants imprisoned without trial reveals the reality behind Canadian ‘security certificates’. This important and timely documentary sheds light on the politics of secrecy and provides a chilling foreshadow to the government’s proposed anti-terrorism Bill C-51. Find out more about the film and hosting a screening on the Secret Trial 5 website.
