Now in its tenth successful season, OPEN CINEMA is dedicated to the innovative use of cinema as a tool for community engagement. Screenings of thought-provoking documentaries in café-style venues are followed by open forum discussion with invited guests, furthering the role of film as a catalyst for dialogue, networking and action. OPEN CINEMA is a program of MediaNet, a non-profit society based in Victoria, BC.
