Now in its eleventh successful season, OPEN CINEMA is dedicated to the innovative use of cinema as a tool for community engagement. Screenings of documentaries in café-style venues are followed by open forum discussion with invited guests. Live events are amplified using virtual engagement and streaming tools, creating a hybrid cinema experience. OPEN CINEMA is a program of MediaNet in Victoria, BC.
