Now in its eleventh successful season, OPEN CINEMA is dedicated to the innovative use of cinema as a tool for community engagement. Screenings of documentaries in café-style venues are followed by open forum discussion with invited guests. Live events are amplified using virtual engagement and streaming tools, creating a hybrid cinema experience. OPEN CINEMA is a program of MediaNet in Victoria, BC.

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER: MAY 14!

As we draw Season 11 to a close, we're planning our Special Fundraising Screening of MIss Representation in partnership with Bridges for Women on May 14, 2014. Don't miss this fabulous celebration of women and leadership!

Once a year we ask you to support our community building work at our annual fundraiser. Please consider donating your product or service to create a win-win-win: we raise funds, you get promoted, women are championed, our community buys lovely things and everyone has a great time. What's not to love?

Download our Silent Auction Request Letter or contact us to donate or find out more. Thanks so much for your support! Mandy Leith
